Cappuccino Around Bakersfield, CA - Watson Realty

Coffee lovers, there's a day coming up that you really ought to know about. Monday, November 8th is Cappuccino Day! Whether or not a cappuccino is your standard coffee order, you have to admit, it's a pretty exceptional and popular drink. There are plenty of great spots to stop and enjoy one while you're looking at Bakersfield homes for sale.

  • Caffeine Supreme: 2000 F St., Bakersfield, CA 93301
    Caffeine Supreme
is a local, drive-through coffee shop known for their blended coffee drinks. However, their hot coffees are delicious, too. In fact, the cappuccino is the first thing on their menu. You can order a 12-, 16-, or 20-ounce cup. They'll add flavoring syrup or an extra shot of espresso upon request! Caffeine Supreme also offers a small selection of snacks, including bagels and muffins

  • Farmacy Cafe: 1702 18th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301
Located inside the Padre Hotel, Farmacy Cafe is the perfect place to go if you want to sit down and enjoy a meal with your cappuccino. They make the whole range of classic espresso drinks, including not only cappuccino but also lattes, cafe Americanos, and mochas. The Buckeye Rolled Oats is the perfect breakfast complement to a cappuccino. It's made with poached apples, brown sugar, and maple syrup, Farmacy Cafe also has delicious, house-made breakfast sandwiches crafted with smoked cheddar and black forest ham.

  • Blue Oak Coffee Roasting: 1717 20th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301
Blue Oak Coffee Roasting roasts their own coffee beans, so you count on getting something special. They carry a lot of single-origin coffees, and their lattes are pretty popular, but they do carry a cappuccino, too. It's made with two shots of espresso, so be prepared for a caffeine hit! Blue Oak also has a great selection of bagels, scones, and pastries. Their Linzer Torte, made with raspberry almond filling, is delicate and delicious. A pastry and cappuccino are a great start to any day.

  • The Filling Station: 1830 24th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301
The Filling Station is another great place to stop for drive-through coffee on Cappuccino Day. The building looks like a gas station with one drive-through lane on either side. As soon as you reach the menu, you'll realize why the place is so popular. Their list of coffee drinks is a mile long. If you want to follow the rules, you can absolutely order a great cappuccino here. But if you're in line and suddenly realize that a white chocolate mocha, tiger toffee frappe, or tiramisu latte sounds better, nobody will tattle on you.

  • Rig City Roasting Company: 2809 Unicorn Rd. Unit #108, Bakersfield, CA 93308
    Rig City Roasting Company
sources their coffee responsibly and roasts it locally. If you want to make cappuccino at home, you can purchase some of their single-origin beans from Ethiopia or Costa Rica. Not into caffeine these days? They have a decaf, dark-roast coffee from Brazil that will create a lovely cappuccino. Rig City spent 15 years perfecting their roasting process, and it shows. Their beans are exceptional and a great choice for making high-end espresso beverages like cappuccino. They're open Mondays and Thursdays from 3-7 pm, so plan accordingly.
